NEXT NOTE: After this edit somebody experienced an HOUR AND A HALF between Vyragosa and TLPD. Goodbye sleep, TLPD campers. :( Good luck guys, stay strong. Now, previously I had suggested sitting at either of the elevated places between either Brunnhildar's Pit or the Frozen Lake. Since we confirmed the Ulduar and Waterfall spawn spots that has changed. And many apologies to those who thought I was arguing with them about the spots existing - I hadn't been able to verify it over dozens of spawns seen elsewhere. So I couldn't sign on to them being real myself without witnessing them. If you're serious about camping these, you're going to want to pick a spawn spot and park on it. But make sure you pick a spot that isn't being camped. I'm going to repeat this a few times - if you check a spawn spot and see it is being camped and park right next to somebody, you are a douchebag. And I personally would prefer you quit reading this right now. There are four spawn spots. Check them all. In order of importance and why, they are: Frozen Lake: This spot can see without moving from the instant aggro-spot, the waterfall route and the ulduar route. (If they make it that far, obviously.) Waterfall: This spot can see the Brunnhildar route. Brunnhildar and Ulduar are both off on their own without any other routes in sight. So if you're by yourself, either of these are good choices if Frozen Lake or Waterfall are taken. If you have 2 toons, and can put one at Frozen Lake I would obviously put the other one at Brunnhildar. For addons I suggest Silver Dragon. I've run with both of them a lot and they both appear to detect shit at exactly the same time. Some people claim one detects faster than the other, but in any case, I would go for Silver Dragon. Silver Dragon has the capability to report what it sees to party, and any variety of other channels. Click here for an image of how I have mine set up. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns about this. As noted on the facts page, after vyragosa or time-lost are killed, there will not be another spawn for at least six hours. This does NOT mean there -will- be a spawn in six hours, it means there will not be one for six hours. After that, it's open. It can spawn anywhere from six hours after a kill to as high as even 30 hours. Is there anything you can do to try to push it closer down to six hours? Yes. But I'll get into that later. If you're serious about this, what you want to do as much as humanly possible with every resource you can imagine, is be at a spot you choose from the moment the spawn window opens (or suggestively 5-10 minutes early) and sit. Sit there 100% of the time, don't do BGs, don't do randoms, don't fly around every so often looking for corpses - Sit. Park there, don't move. That guarantees you a 25% chance at getting a spawn. And that percentage slightly increases depending on if your spot can see one or two other flight paths. Then, spend a few minutes here and there flying around looking for people camping the usual multi-path areas - which is something I would now totally say is a full waste of time compared to camping any of the spawn spots. Find them, talk to them. See if you can find people to work together with. Not sharing timers - don't just share timers. In fact, when you kill Vyragosa make damn sure they somehow get skinned as fast as possible. You don't want anyone else getting timers who isn't directly working with you. However - you don't want to go at it alone, either. Make it clear, if 2-3 people, or even 4, are working together? You can cover the most ground, know the most about spawns, and have more of a chance to know when the last kill was so you can score some most valuable sleep for 5ish hours. And if you make a deal that if so and so gets TLPD, they'll help the others camp? Stick to it. Don't fall out. In fact, people willing to donate several days who already have it are valuable assets. Pay them, even. Offer them a few thousand gold to provide 100% coverage of a spot during all uptime - do what you can to make it happen. Going it alone sucks, considering there are four spawn spots. But again, don't just hand out spawn information to people who just ask. Make them camp with you for a while before you start sharing that. And don't just be rude, if you dont trust them with it yet that they're going to take it and fuck off on their own and try their damnedest to fuck you over, just say "I'm sorry, I'm sure you understand why I would want to keep that to myself. Giving it out to everybody who isn't working with me wouldn't be wise, right?" or something like that.
