CAMPING WITH A GROUP NOTE: AS OF THE SHATTERING, MINIMUM SPAWN TIME DROPPED TO APPARENTLY 3-4 HOURS, NOT SIX. NEXT NOTE: After this edit somebody experienced an HOUR AND A HALF between Vyragosa and TLPD. Goodbye sleep, TLPD campers. :( Good luck guys, stay strong. Establish group rules as people come into the group. If they're your toons, well, it's time to have a conversation with yourself on which toons are taking priority. Oh yeah. So, if you have somebody that's been there for two weeks and you're bringing people in I suggest that the person who's been there should by all rights get it - then the next person in line, then the next after that. One way I think works well is if you have various people who have been camping together a while, the person who's been there the longest should be able to pick where they want to camp after the most recent kill, followed by next in seniority picking, and so on. So if 9 kills ago was Brunnhildar, sit there, then next in line picks the one that's only 5 spawns ago, and so on. If some people have multiple toons or are just heping you could say "if it spawns here, everybody get here and we can roll on it." There really are a lot of ways and in the end it could boil down to 4 greedy people who dont even group up together and maybe have to deal with rude pricks stacking on them hopefully at least all keeping in touch and sharing spawn times. But hopefully at least most campers will be smart enough to realize, if you go it alone, you'll be spending maybe hundreds of hours in storm peaks during no-spawn times when you otherwise could have avoided it.
DUAL-CAMPING With two people I strongly suggest trying to take Frozen Lake and Brunnhildar. Busy server or not. Even on a busy server TLPD/Vyra can make full loops on the longest loop (being Ulduar.) I suggest also looking for at least one other person to sit with you. It's pretty awesome if you're able to cover Ulduar spawn. But, of course, if something's camped, just pick 2 spots that aren't covered. In order, again, I find these to be the most important spots to camp: Frozen Lake, Brunnhildar, Ulduar, Waterfall. If there are 2 Brunnhildar spawns in a row it's pretty safe after that to swap out your Brunnhildar to Waterfall. If all there are is two I would never cover Ulduar. Sure, it saves from something having a seriously long flight all the way to and through the frozen river / frozen lake. But, if you do that Brunnhildar is 100% unseen. So stick with Frozen Lake and/or Brunnhildar. But again I only suggest leaving Brunnhildar if you have seen 2 spawns in a row there. Then hit Frozen Lake / Waterfall for a spawn. Then yep, back to Brunnhildar. Or just stick at the 2 (FL/BR.)
TRI-CAMPING What I would do for 3 camp spots is Frozen Lake, Ulduar and Brunnhildar. Same thing here, rotating Brunnhildar and Waterfall if you see a spawn or two at Brunnhildar. Not much beyond that.
QUAD-CAMPING Do I have to type anything after this sentence?
